Displacer Beast
A couple of months ago, a friend of mine commissioned me to make them a displacer beast from DnD, so finally, here we are! This guy was a lot of work, but fun to make!
Flower Fairy Hat
’ve been wanting to make this hat for a while now, so I finally did it! I made it for the Bloom festival, but didn’t get the chance to wear it for it. I did wear it for pride, though! This hat was so fun to make and it’s so whimsical!
World Oddities Expo - Cleveland
World Oddities Expo was a fun time! It was smaller than I expected, but still a lot of fun. There was a good variety of vendors there selling everything from bones, to specimens in specimen jars, to art work, to antiques.
Happy Pride Month!
Happy Pride Month, one and all! It’s that time of year again where we all celebrate what makes us unique and also show that the fight for equality is far from over.
Flowers are Blooming!
The flowers have been blooming up a storm around my yard this year! I’m working on setting up my new raised garden beds to grow some food. I love container gardening, so this year, I’m doing a an upgrade. I’m really enjoying putting this together and should be done by the end of the week, so expect that update when I can get photos of it!
ASM Dome at Dusk
I absolutely love going to the ASM dome! I’d never been at dusk or at night, as the garden under it is closed by 8pm. However, we really wanted to see what it looked like lit up when up close, and we were not disappointed.
Exploring Garrettsville
It was the first day off I’d had with my best friend and roommate in a long time, so that meant it was time for a Magical Adventure Day! What are magical adventures for us? We usually have a goal(s) in mind, and then what happens happens as we accomplish that goal(s). Well, it was mostly just for fun this time.
Northern Lights in Northeast Ohio
Friday night was the night the solar storm made it possible for the northern lights to be seen all the way down into Alabama, so of course we had to take advantage of the sight. By the time I got home from work, I was very tired as was my roommate, but there is a dark park nearby, so we decided that, since we live in the woods, we’d probably get a better view if we went there. We were not disappointed!
RIP My Sweet Girl…
For the past month, I’ve been watching my sweet Perky girl decline. She was sick, but the vet thought it was allergies at first. I hoped that she was right. Unfortunately, she was wrong. Her breathing got worse and worse and she ate less and less.
Finding the Grave of Chef Boyardee
Searched for and found the grave of Hector Boiardi: the iconic Chef Boyardee.
Saving a Duckling
Sunday night, my roommate, Ripley, found a baby mallard duckling in the road way. It was only maybe 3 or 4 days old.
Crochet Pattern Collector…
My Row Counter is great for storing my crochet patterns, and I’ve got a lot of them…
