Happy Pride Month!

Happy Pride Month, one and all! It’s that time of year again where we all celebrate what makes us unique and also show that the fight for equality is far from over.

Over the weekend, I went Cleveland Pride and, though it was hot as always, it was a lot of fun! It always feels good to be surrounded by so many people who are like you and are out and open. I saw a friend there I hadn’t seen in years, got to be surrounded by art and artists, and just felt so warm and welcome. I hope that, if possible and you are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, you get the opportunity to attend a pride event this year. It’s always worth it to me. I think one of my favorite parts was toward the end when Ripley donned their fursuit. Everyone’s reactions were all positive and so many people wanted pictures of them or took pictures with them. Ripley had a lot of fun interacting with everyone like that. :)
